Queensland Hoop Pine

Native to southeast Queensland, hoop pine is a strong and durable. One of the few native species grown in sustainably managed forests (AS/NZS 4708:2021; Responsible Wood / PEFC).

Cork

Harvested by hand from the bark of the cork oak tree, cork is soft, durable, and water-resistant, absorbing more CO₂ with every harvest. Portugal produces around half of the world’s cork.

Tung Oil

Pressed from the seeds of the tung tree, tung oil is a water-resistant finish used for centuries by woodworkers and boatbuilders. Bottled in Western Australia, it has low VOC and is food-safe.

Philosophy

Digital technology helps us stay close across distances, but humans aren’t built to broadcast to everyone, everywhere, all at once. In the race for speed and reach, communication lost meaning.

In nature, queen bees don’t shout through a megaphone. They use pheromones to communicate by touch, one bee to the next. Small, deliberate interactions create collective intelligence.

If marketing is about communication, why does it push in only one direction? Why isn’t the receiver part of the conversation?

We believe technology can be more intimate, mindful, and accessible. Doing so would cut the noise and support healthier relationships between each other and the planet.
